Homophobic and Misogynistic Music  

 

The National Black Justice Coalition supports artistic creativity, but we do not support recording artists or record companies that produce homophobic or misogynistic music.  We understand that homophobic music is produced in many different musical genres, from rock to reggae to hip hop and encourage our members and other consumers to be knowledgeable and informed in their music purchases.  We encourage club owners, promoters, and DJs to be sensitive in the music selections they play at their parties and events.
