Hate Crimes  

 

Blacks and gays are the number one and number two targets of hate crimes, according the to the FBI.  The National Black Justice Coalition believes that hate crimes are particularly heinous because they target a whole group and not just one person.  We support hate crimes laws that monitor hate crimes and impose longer sentences on the convicted perpetrators of such crimes.
