Lutherans Concerned/North America works for the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Lutherans in all aspects of the life of their Church and congregations. Started in 1984, the Reconciling in Christ Program now recognizes more than 400 congregations, organizations and other settings that have specifically, affirmatively, and publicly stated their welcome to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. RIC is a journey towards full inclusion and not a status.
