Health and Wellness Summit Track


Plenary and panel discussions on health disparities in the African-American community; health issues specific to LGBT plus workshops focusing on transgender issues,  financial literacy and economic development.

3rd Annual Black Church Summit

Plenary, panel and workshops discussions on issues concerning LGBT spirituality, social justice and welcoming and affirming ministries plus theological discussions on current events among spiritual leaders and people of faith.

Special Guest Speakers: Bishops Gene Robinson and Carlton Pearson.

Plenary and panel discussions focused upon Black LGBT leadership, community prioritization, building alliances, media and entertainment portrayals of Black LGBT, marriage equality, plus Harlem by the Harbor Awards Dinner.

Then Join the NBJC Choir!!

NBJC is looking for singers and soloists to join our choir at the upcoming Power of Us Conference during the Black Church Summit component on Friday, April 25. This is a great opportunity for you to use your talent and enjoy a wonderful event.

This year's Summit will be featuring some of our favorite clergy and faithful friends. Very little rehearsal is required and some of our favorite songs will be performed. Music such an important part in praise and worship that we will miss you if you miss it.
